City of London

London, with a population of 464,300 ( Census Metropolitan Area), has one of the most diversified economies in the province. The London region is home to one of the most intense automotive clusters in North America, is one of two top areas in Canada for the agri-food industry, is a hub for windows and doors, and a regional healthcare centre. The city has a long history in the financial services sector and is growing exciting life science and IT sectors.

Strategically located at the junction of Hwys. 401 and 402, London is a 2-hour drive from Windsor/Detroit and Toronto and Buffalo. Automotive OEMs in our region include CAMI, Ford Motor Company and Toyota (both Cambridge & Woodstock). Companies such as Arcelor Mittal, Brose, Keiper and Transform Automotive have facilities in London and recent investments by CEVA Logistics, CT Innovation, and CS Automotive are welcome additions to London's automotive community. Approximately 15,800 people are employed in the automotive sector in the region.
