Roads to Renewal II
Partnering for Prosperity: Communities & Companies in the Resurging Automotive Economy
March 29-30, 2011
The second Roads to Renewal conference was filled with excellent presenters, session topics, and attendees. The event was held in Dearborn, in the heart of the US automotive industry.
The goals of the conference were to demonstrate the importance of public-private partnerships by showcasing successful models of cooperation and describing how these partnerships can bring in new investment and revitalize economies. The conference discussed some of the largest issues of the moment to companies and communities—accessing capital, strategies for job growth, repurposing facilities, growing local businesses, leveraging the higher education infrastructure, and packaging policies and assets in ways that attract private sector investments. Most importantly, these discussions highlighted working models—models that can be quickly adapted and implemented in communities.
CAR was pleased to work with so many talented speakers who presented on a variety of salient topics to communities in the automotive region. Below is a list of speakers that presented. Click their names to view the presentation.
